Frost Fest is on Thursday, December 5th from 9pm–11:30pm in Upstairs Rockland. It will be full of fun activities and crafts. Jeff LeBlanc, a singer and songwriter, will be performing from 9pm to 10pm in Rockland Banquet. You may have seen Jeff singing at Stevenson before, like at one of MAP’s Pinterest Jams. There will also be catering from Georgia Peach and a hot chocolate bar. T-shirts will be given out to the first 100 attendees as well! As for crafts, students can paint a wood slice, stuff their own stuffed animal ornaments, and make holiday cookie jars. Don’t forget to wear your favorite ugly sweater because the person with the best sweater will win a prize!
The New York City Trip is on Saturday, December 7th; departure from Stevenson is at 8am and departure from NYC is at 8pm. Before leaving SU, we will raffle off two tickets to the Broadway show Phantom of the Opera, and two tickets to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. Tickets for the trip are sold out, so hopefully you already snagged your ticket! For those who are going, there are tons of activities to do in the Times Square area, which is the approximate drop-off location. Because the trip is near the holidays, the tree will be up in Rockefeller Center, as well as the ice skating rink. Other nearby places to note are Central Park, the Disney Store, the LEGO Store, Top of the Rock Observation Deck, The Museum of Modern Art, Broadway, and the Vessel -- all within reasonable walking distance.
Come out and enjoy the last couple weeks of the semester with MAP!
