Do you like listening to poetry and spoken word? Join us this Thursday in Ratcliffe to take part in our Spoken Word Coffee House! Kyla Lacey bases her poetry about real life experiences and enjoys telling stories of triumphing over tragedy. She connects with everyone and uses comedy in her poetry. At the event there will be snacks, include tea and cookies! Check out her bio!
MAP will be partnering with W.O.R.T.H. for this event!
W.O.R.T.H. stands for Women of Resilience, Tenacity & Humility. Formed with one unique vision, W.O.R.T.H. strives to unlock the leadership potential of young women at Stevenson University. Along with a focus on leadership, W.O.R.T.H. pushes for academic integrity, mentorship, and becoming uniquely acquainted with the women of the organization. As the organization progresses, W.O.R.T.H. will prepare women to be bold leaders inside and outside the classroom through preparing for life after college. MAP and W.O.R.T.H. have come together in a unique way to not only bring attention to women issues, but to spread social awareness around campus. W.O.R.T.H. is so humbled to work with MAP in a collaborative event and aims to positively make an influence among the Stevenson community. Contact us at WORTHclub@stevenson.edu!
