Anane Gyedu![]() It was fall semester of my sophomore year. My friend (and MAP president at the time) Kris finally convinced me to come a MAP meeting after weeks of persuading. I told him I would give it a try, but I thought it was going to be one of those clubs where I go for one meeting and never show up again. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect since I’ve never been part of a club like MAP, so I was kind of walking in blind. When I got there, the first thing we did was an icebreaker. I don’t remember the exact activity that we did, but I do remember that I liked it a lot. The actual meeting intrigued me as well because I was finally able to see what happens behind the scenes of how MAP events are organized, and I also got insight of other events I probably wouldn’t have known about if I hadn’t attended that meeting. A year and a half later, I have no regrets. I have made some friends and made even more memories, and I have nothing else but MAP to thank for that. Anane Gyedu Junior Computer Information Systems
