1. Hit the gym
Most gyms closed during our spring break, so I have had to get creative with my physical activity. I’ve mostly been going on long runs followed by long walks, and occasionally throughout the day I’ll do sets of push ups or squats. Don’t get me wrong, I love being able to run outside, but I miss the machines and racks in the gym.
2. Vacation to Florida
I am expecting closings to last into the summer, which is around the time for a vacation. I am fortunate to have a well-paying job that helps me save up, but I know I will need a break to visit the warm weather and beautiful beaches. Since Florida has a high count of cases, I know I won’t be able to Florida anytime soon.
3. Grocery Shop, without waiting in a line outside the store
I’m not afraid of leaving the house; when I’m hungry, I will go out and get food. However a lot of grocery stores are starting to put in policies that limit the number of people in the store. I’m a fast shopper, so waiting in a line is a hard no for me. Once the policies end, I will definitely dance around Wegmans.
4. Shop for Furniture
I’m moving into a new apartment in a few months, and most stores that sell furniture are closed. I grew up watching HGTV, so I’m so pumped to finally be able to decorate my own space. Side note: there is a home decor subscription box that had the CUTEST little pieces; it’s on my wishlist
5. Twitter
The fabulous thing about social media is how everyone is able to stay connected and informed. I stopped watching the news because it got too negative, and that is what Twitter is turning into. I miss the memes and funny content that brightens my day! Twitter, I love you, but just not right now.
What are you looking forward to doing once the quarantine ends? Is there anything you have a newfound appreciation or respect for?
