Are you ready to get creative?

Today MAP is collaborating with AIGA to have a paint night! A great opportunity for students to create room decor or de-stress by releasing creativity. Personally I love to paint although my art pieces don't always come out fantastic it's still fun to get messy and see what you can make! Students have signed up at the rock and will get a canvas and make whatever their heart desires. We will have some print outs of canvas art for inspiration. What better way to decorate than with your own art and for free? Get ready for a great time and to bring out your inner DaVinci, Baquiat or Warhol!

See ya there!

AIGA Stevenson University is the student art & design group on campus! We are affiliated with the AIGA (The Professional Association for Design) Baltimore Chapter. We work very hard to provide opportunities for art and design students here at Stevenson University. We have activities such as art & design workshops, trips off-campus, design-related service projects, portfolio and career development and many more activities.

We are super excited to be participating with MAP on the Paint Night event! It is a great way to collaborate with another club to bring attention to AIGA and shows the opportunities we provide for our members. We home to gain some new members that are interested in art or design - they do not have to be art or design majors!!

Our first AIGA meeting of the year will be on Friday, September 22 from 3-4pm in the School of Design, Room 123. We will be making buttons! Bring various coloring materials or make your design on the computer! In addition to our fun button making session, we will be announcing the winner of our Snapchat Geofilter Design Challenge. Make sure to submit a Stevenson themed snapchat geofilter to aiga@stevenson.edu by Wednesday, September 20th at 2pm.

If you are interested in AIGA, and want to further your learning experience and career opportunities, then this is the group for you! We are also open to all students & all majors!! Sign up for our email list at aiga@stevenson.edu, join our Facebook group at AIGA | Stevenson University and follow our instagram page at @aiga_stevenson.
Make sure to follow us to get updates on upcoming events such as Adobe Illustrator Crash-course, Holiday Card Hand Lettering Workshop & more networking events!
