Job Descriptions
Program Director:
The Program Director is responsible for planning and creating events focusing on the experience while coordinating volunteers. They are the point of contact for all contracts and agencies. They are responsible for effectively advertising in conjunction with the Social Media and Marketing Chair.
Social Media & Marketing Chair:
The Social Media and Marketing chair manages MAP's social media accounts, manages and updates the website, and takes photos at MAP events. They will collect photos to make the Banquet slideshow and complete bulletin boards around campus. In addition, they also work with the program directors to create marketing plans for each event and brainstorm active advertising ideas. This chair is the Public Relations liaison between organizations on and off campus.
Membership Chair:
The Membership Chair is tasked with the responsibility of recruiting members to MAP throughout the school year. They keep track of communication with the members throughout the week, remind them of weekly meetings, and oversee the members signing up for individual MAP events. They are also responsible for maintaining a membership database and planning weekly energizers for members. The Membership Chair also plans the MAP socials and the Banquet, and fosters an overall feeling of club pride and togetherness.
President:
The President will be responsible for leading the Executive Board on a weekly basis. The President is responsible for planning and executing retreats with the assistance of the Advisor. They also manage the calendar to ensure that there are a variety of events each semester. They are responsible for checking the MAP organization email on a regular basis, leading weekly meetings, and creating meeting agendas. The President is a representative of the Student Activities Office.
All:
All e-board members must attend the weekly general meeting, the weekly e-board meetings, a weekly 1:1 with the Advisor, and complete a weekly office hour in the Office of Student Activities
All e-board members are expected to represent MAP at Admissions events, Involvement Fairs, and participate in retreats and professional development opportunities each semester
Each e-board member will be paid biweekly.
